Department of Automatic Control, Lund University

Michelle Chong is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Automatic Control, Lund University. She obtained her PhD in mathematical control theory with applications in neuroscience from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Melbourne. After which, she was awarded the American Australian Association’s ConocoPhilips postdoctoral fellowship to spend a year at the University of California, Santa Barbara in Prof. Joao Hespanha’s group working on designing secure cyber-physical systems against adversarial attacks. Her research interest lies in the broad area of mathematical control theory, in particular estimation and optimisation algorithms, with applications in neuroscience and cyber security.
