Jon Giftakis is currently a Senior Principal Clinical Evidence Specialist and Medtronic Technical Fellow for the Brain Modulation Business at Medtronic. Jon is responsible for DBS epilepsy therapy development and clinical evidence strategy, and has been with Medtronic for 18 years. He is focused on advancing epilepsy therapy concepts, including assessments of implantable technologies for brain monitoring and seizure detection, adaptive stimulation paradigms, and therapy optimization based on physiologic biomarkers.
